- Download the Update to your computer. It's
recommended that you create a new, empty folder to contain the update
file. You will be asked whether or not to save it to
disk. Always save it to disk, preferably to a temporary folder.
- Run the Update by either double-clicking the Update
file or entering the correct path in the Windows Start Menu's | Run
dialogue.
- The Update requires and will search your system for
a previously installed version.
- If you have a Cakewalk version installed, a folder
named GenieSoft will be created and a complete new version will be
installed. If you have a previous GenieSoft version, it will
be replaced with this version.
