Changes and Improvements in 3.6.1

  • Fixed rehearsal and articulation alignment problem when reading old Mac files. (Mac only)

  • Hiding a staff that is connected to another with a bracket will no longer display the bracket on the single staff.

  • Dragging half and whole rests now move a space at a time.

  • Fixed bug that caused root to disappear when transposing chords down.

  • Fixed MIDI file export bug with files having first and second endings.

  • Fixed a  transpose diatonic bug.

  • Corrected fermata playback starting clock and duration.  The fermata uses the clock of the closest note. Please Note: Fermatas attached to notes do not affect playback. You click in the fermata in open space above the note.

  • All items can now be made invisible.  Previously, only certain items could be made invisible.

  • Fixed export to MIDI bug that happens when a score has two sets of endings.

  • Fixed extra stem line bug when beaming across systems.

  • Fixed Transport Patch to follow tracks with bank changes set.

  • You can now print two pages on one sheet of paper. Use the 2-Up switch in the Print Dialog.

Changes and Improvements in 3.6.0

  • Fixed transpose by octave bug that changed scale position but not actual pitch.

  • Tempos at the beginning of a multi-rest can now be dragged.

  • Multi-rests now break on tempos that are shown on score.

  • When double clicking on headers and footers, the correct header now appears in dialog.

  • Fixed recently introduced paste bug that occurred when copy and pasting more than two measures.

  • Fixed Paste bug when the end position of slurs, tuplets, etc. were not attached to a note.

  • Fixed incorrect stem length on grace notes. (PC Only)

  • Improved printing of slurs that anded on first note of next system.

  • When adding slurs, the last note's duration is not extended.

  • Fixed problem where ties were being placed on wrong side of head when note position was on middle staff line.
  • Improved multiple voice feature when importing MIDI files.
  • Fixed bug ( introduced in last 2 updates) where entering trills caused notes to disappear when reopening the score. (PC Only)
  • Enabled double-clicking on the tuplet cell in the note's palette to open Tuplet dialog. (OS X only)

  • Extract Dialog now allows for a Reduction Percentage and the ability to hide or show the left edge barline.

  • Fixed slur playback problem.

  • Enabled controllers in Expressions dialog.

  • Corrected playback of Hairpins.

  • When flipping hairpins, its four data values are now flipped.

  • Record Options (Only and Except) only erase existing data that will be recorded.  This allows you to record controllers data while keeping the note data.  For example All Except Notes will erase all data except notes when recording.

Changes and Improvements in 3.5.1

  • Changed percussive tracks to allow different pitches (with different voices) to occupy the same staff position.

  • Changed dragging of notes on percussive tracks to change head correctly to the percussion map established in setup track and to constrain dragging to staff positions, not chromatically. 

  • Fixed several recording bugs that were recently introduced.

  • Beams in EPS files on OS X have been improved.

  • Improved Encore reader: Some hidden staves were showing, some symbols on Piano systems were placed on incorrect track, symbols on the last track in a conductor score that contained a piano system were placed on the previous track, and tremolo articulations are now read.

  • Fixed an incompatibility in expressions when exchanging  files between Mac and PC.

  • Hidden meters no longer occupy space.

  • Printed slurs are slightly thicker at the ends and thinner in the middle.

  • Engraver setting now have a ledger line thickness

  • Fixed two random crash bugs

  • Scores with a single barline at end are now saved properly.
  • Fixed crash when dragging/nudging cross staff notes that were displayed on the original staff. (PC Only)
  • Improved reading crashing when loading old files that were corrupted.
  • Controller data can now be entered in any voice, not just voice 1.
  • Notes and controller data are shown in colors in Graphic Window.
  • Increased size of System Separations lines.
